Enliven’s Coombrae Village offers a wonderful lifestyle opportunity in friendly Feilding.
Boutique retirement living at its very best.
Coombrae’s 20 purpose-built villas are set amongst cottage gardens, with a relaxed outlook that compliments the village’s friendly and comfortable atmosphere.
Designed and constructed to provide comfortable, affordable and quality retirement living, the one and two bedroom villas are well set out with a separate kitchen, open-plan dining/lounge and a bathroom/laundry.
One of the best things about a move to Coombrae Village is you can focus on enjoying your retirement while we take care of the rest.
We’ll look after the property maintenance and gardening; we even offer meals and housekeeping services.
Of course, the amount we do is up to you. For example, if you’re a bit of a green thumb or enjoy pottering in the garden, you’re welcome to take care of the area around your villa. Many residents of Coombrae Village have created glorious gardens around their homes.

A full range of positive ageing services
Enliven offers a full range of positive ageing services. At Coombrae Village we offer independent retirement living, while neighbouring Coombrae Home offers both short and long term rest home and dementia care as well as a day programme.
This range of care means that if your needs change, so too can the level of support we provide. It also makes Coombrae Home and Village a great option for couples who need different levels of support.
If there comes a time village residents need extra support, they will have priority entry to our Coombrae Home when there is availability.

Coombrae Village residents say:
It’s a nice and friendly environment here – we all get along and say hello, but we’re still very independent. Everyone respects each others privacy.
Sylvia
Once a month we’re invited to entertainment with drinks and nibbles at the rest home which is a good way to get to know everyone. I also enjoy going on trips that are put on for us and we always have a say in what we’d like to do for them.
Gloria
My family home was too big and I was living by myself. I had a look at Coombrae villas with my family and we all agreed that this was the place for me, so here I am.
Margaret
We wanted to live in a place where we could enjoy our retirement without having to worry about the house. You don’t want to leave moving to a retirement village too late. Live for today.
Graham
You can do all the gardening yourself or it can be done for you, a security guard comes around at night and keeps an eye on the village and each morning someone comes over from Coombrae Home to see if we’re ok and if we need anything.
Cyril
My villa is just the right size for me and I have a garage for my car. It’s a small village that is really close to town and has a great community feel to it. Best of all, it is surrounded by beautiful countryside and has a semi-rural feel to it.
