Reevedon Home residents say:
It’s very cosy here. The staff are nice, we have each other on and have a joke together. I’ve been happy here I must say.
Murray
The baking club is great. I’m just a taste tester really.
Jim
The bowls is a bit of fun. I play a couple of times a week here and every Friday Levin Home [residents] comes to play with us
Leonore
I needed extra care and this was the only place that appealed to me. It’s not far from Otaki at all, and when I walked through the front door it just felt like home. I think it’s the staff and the warmth of the place – it just clicked for me, and the staff are terrific here.
Frank
I’ve only been gardening since I started living here. They encouraged me to give it a go and I really enjoy it. All the vegetables from the garden go to the home and the residents.
Murray
I wasn’t well and I needed to move into care, so my friend showed me around Reevedon Home and it just felt comfortable. I liked that it’s so close to town and there’s a good variety of things you can do here.
Robin
Since moving in, I’ve had opportunities to try a lot of things I couldn’t have done just on my own before, like bingo and indoor bowls. I actually recently went on a van outing with the other residents and ended up in Foxton for the first time in about thirty years! I didn’t know it at all, it’s changed so much.
